A Festival in "episodes" entirely dedicated to Balboa, Balswing and Slowbal, where you can register for the whole series or individual weekends.

Each appointment will feature two couples of teachers who will change every weekend of study and fun. At every event, you will have the opportunity to study with both couples of teachers.

As in all our workshops, there will be no partner changes during the classes, but you will have the chance to practice with other partners directly at the parties. Each weekend includes social dance nights on all three nights, with live music and DJ sets.

During our evenings you will find a refreshment point with a volunteer of the association who will serve you various types of drinks free of charge. Every evening Guido will cook a risotto for everyone to recover the energy spent during the social dance evening.

LEVELS

INTERMEDIATE: You have been dancing for two or more years, you know the basics of Balboa well, you are still eager to discover new figures and new Balswing steps that enrich your dance style, you regularly attend standard courses and national-level workshops, but you feel comfortable only when the tracks are below 180 bpm.

ADVANCED: You have been dancing for more than three years, you know the basic Balboa step perfectly, but you want to enrich your close position style by adding some of the existing nuances; you also want to continue learning figures of Balswing that are not yet very clear to you and at the same time put all this mix into the music. You enjoy dancing only if the tracks you dance to are faster than 180 bpm; you regularly attend courses and international festivals, comparing yourself with all the dancers present.

ADVANCED PLUS: (COUPLES ONLY) Balboa is part of your life; not a day goes by without listening to swing music and imagining how you would dance it; you feel comfortable at whatever bpm are proposed; you love to play with musicality; you do not like dance routines because you are aware that this is a dance based on improvisation; you interact with all participants at any festival you attend, having fun and making your partner of the moment have fun; you love dancing to live music for the musical variations performed by each individual band; you know the musical structures of the various swing styles and you may even have a class of people to whom you want to transmit your passion.

IMPORTANT! THE TEACHERS WILL PROPOSE THE LESSONS OF THE THREE LEVELS AS PER THE ABOVE DESCRIPTIONS; YOU ARE THEREFORE INVITED TO REGISTER FOR A LEVEL THAT SUITS YOU (By not changing partners you will not disturb the class that knowingly registered, but you will waste your money)

REGISTRATIONS FOR ADVANCED PLUS CAN BE MADE ONLY AS A COUPLE.

Extra couples of teachers are planned, in addition to those already named, who will hold Slowbal lessons

RUNNING OF THE EVENT

PREMISE: The Brescia Balboa Series has as its main objective the deepening of the dance style through lessons proposed by teachers of international standing.

THE LESSONS are organized so as not to waste time during them and to be certain of not being disturbed by intruders, to have a perfect floor for this type of dance with cushioning to save the knees on which your weight rests for several hours, to have an almost exceptional sound diffusion in any place in the room with low volumes so as not to confuse the brain, already engaged in learning the dance lesson. You will attend lessons dedicated to Balboa, to Balswing and single-level thematic lessons where topics such as musicality, history of dance and swing music, and much more will be addressed. During the scheduled breaks between one lesson and another we offer a small energetic/healthy buffet to recover the energy spent.

THE EVENING PRACTICE: It is nothing more than a social dance evening to test yourself with all the attendees verifying whether what has been learned during the day can be practiced with any dancer, during these you will have the opportunity to dance to live music and high-level DJ sets specialized in this style of music.

FULL PASS SINGLE: 1300€
The FULL PASS gives you the opportunity to take part in all 8 weekends! Each meeting includes 5 hours of classes at the chosen level and 3 parties.

FULL COUPLE PASS: 2400€

(single registration and payment) The couple full pass gives the couple the opportunity to take part in all 8 weekends! Each meeting includes 5 hours of classes at the chosen level and 3 parties.

The class times are scheduled to allow, if not sold out, to follow a second level compared to the one indicated in your registration at a cost of €20 per person.

SINGLE WEEKEND: 250€

The weekend pass gives you the possibility to register for one or more weekends, it entitles you to follow 5 hours of classes at your level and to participate in the three parties. Registration will entitle you to follow a second level at a cost of €20 per person P.S.: Payment for multiple weekends you wish to register for must be made in a single solution

WEEKEND COUPLE PASS: 440€
(single registration and payment) The weekend pass gives you the possibility to register for one or more weekends, it entitles you to follow 5 hours of classes at your level and to participate in the three parties. Registration will entitle you to follow a second level at a cost of €20 per person P.S.: Payment for multiple weekends you wish to register for must be made in a single solution

PARTY PASS:
The party pass opens ONLY IF THE NUMBER OF REGISTRANTS FOR THE WEEKENDS INCLUDING LESSONS DOES NOT REACH THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE WE WANT TO HOST (we do not want overcrowding) it can be reserved only one week before the date of the weekend. The purchase options will be €100 for three evenings or €80 for two.
On Friday at the pre-party we propose an extra class dedicated to Slowbal with couples of teachers who could be part of the team of the Brescia Balboa Series or other couples invited to participate: the cost of the lesson for those already registered for the weekend or for the entire series is €15 per person, while for those who are not registered the cost is €25 per person.

EARLY BIRD

From 1st to 15th July we offer up to 25 couples the opportunity to register at the cost of €1100 for the single registration or €2000 for the couple for the entire event. On the same day registrations also open for the single weekends with the price of €230 for single registrations and €440 for the couple. THE REGISTRATION METHOD WITH THE EARLY BIRD PRICE IS THE SAME AS THAT OF THE NOMINAL PRICE

Un festival a "episodi" interamente dedicato al Balboa al Balswing,e allo Slowbal dove è possibile iscriversi all'intera serie o ai singoli weekend.

Ogni appuntamento vedrà la partecipazione di due coppie di maestri che cambieranno ogni weekend di studio e divertimento. Ad ogni evento, avrete l'opportunità di studiare con entrambe le coppie di maestri.

Come in tutti i nostri workshop, non ci saranno cambi di partner durante le lezioni, ma avrete la possibilità di esercitarvi con altri partner direttamente durante le feste. Ogni weekend include serate di ballo sociale per tutte e tre le notti, con musica dal vivo e DJ set.

Durante le nostre serate troverete un punto ristoro con un volontario dell’associazione che vi servirà svariati tipi di bevande a titolo gratuito. Ogni sera Guido cucinerà un risotto per tutti per recuperare le energie sprecate nella serata di ballo sociale.

LIVELLI

INTERMEDIO: Balli da due o più anni conosci bene le basi del Balboa sei ancora voglioso di scoprire nuove figure e nuovi passi del Balswing che arricchiscano il tuo stile di ballo, frequenti corsi settimanali regolarmente e workshop di livello nazionale ma ti senti a tuo agio solo quando i brani sono al di sotto dei 180bpm

AVANZATO: Balli da più di tre anni, il passo base del Balboa lo conosci perfettamente ma vuoi arricchire il tuo stile di ballo chiuso aggiungendo parte delle sfumature esistenti, vuoi anche proseguire imparando ancora delle figure del Balswing che non ti sono ancora ben chiare e nello stesso tempo metterle in musica tutto questo mix di cose. Ti diverti a ballare solo se i brani sui quali balli sono più veloci di 180 bpm. Frequenti regolarmente corsi settimanali e festival internazionali confrontandoti con tutti i ballerini presenti.

AVANZATO PLUS: (SOLO IN COPPIA) Il balboa fa parte della tua vita, non c’è giorno che passi senza ascoltare musica swing immaginandoti come la balleresti, ti trovi a tuo agio qualsiasi siano i Bpm proposti, ami giocare sulla musicalità, non ti piacciono le routine di ballo perché sei consapevole che questo è un ballo basato sull’improvvisazione, ti confronti con tutti i partecipanti di qualsiasi festival che frequenti divertendoti e facendo divertire il tuo partner del momento, ami ballare sulla musica dal vivo per le varianti musicali eseguite da ogni singola band, conosci le strutture musicali dei vari stili di swing e magari hai una classe di persone alla quale vuoi trasmettergli la tua passione.

IMPORTANTE! I MAESTRI PROPORANNO LE LEZIONI DEI TRE LIVELLI COME DA DESCRIZIONI SOPRACITATE. SEI PERCIO’ INVITATO AD ISCRIVERTI AD UN LIVELLO CHE TI SI ADDICE (Non facendo cambio di coppia non disturberai la classe che si è iscritta consapevolmente ma butterai il tuo denaro).

LE ISCRIZIONI ALL’AVANZATO PLUS POSSONO ESSERE EFFETTUATE SOLO IN COPPIA.
Sono previste coppie di maestri extra agli insegnati gia nominati che terranno le lezioni di Slowbal.

SVOLGIMENTO

PREMESSA: Il Brescia Balboa Series ha come obbiettivo principale l’approfondimento dello stile di ballo attraverso lezioni proposte da maestri di caratura internazionale.

LE LEZIONI sono organizzate in modo da non perdere tempo durante le stesse e avere la certezza di non essere disturbati da intrusi, di avere un pavimento perfetto per questo tipo di ballo con ammortizzazione per risparmiare le ginocchia sulle quali pesa il vostro pulse per svariate ore, di avere una diffusione sonora pressochè eccezionale in qualsiasi posto della stanza con volumi bassi così da non mandare in confusione il cervello, già impegnato nell’apprendimento della lezione di ballo. Assisterete a lezioni dedicate al Balboa, al Balswing e lezioni tematiche di livello unico dove si affronteranno temi come musicalità, storia del ballo e della musica swing, e tanto altro ancora. Nelle pause prestabilite fra una lezione e l’altra offriamo un piccolo buffet energico/salutare per recuperare le energie sprecate.

LA PRATICA SERALE: Non è altro che che una serata di ballo sociale per mettersi alla prova con tutti gli avventori verificando se ciò che si è appreso durante la giornata si è in grado di praticarlo con qualunque ballerino, durante le stesse avrete l’occasione di ballare su musica dal vivo e dj set di alto livello specializzati in questo stile di musica.

PARTY PASS

Il party pass viene aperto SOLO NEL CASO CHE IL NUMERO DEGLI ISCRITTI AI WEEKEND COMPRESI DI LEZIONI NON RAGGIUNGANO IL NUMERO MASSIMO DI PERSONE CHE VOGLIAMO OSPITARE (non vogliamo sovraffollamento) si potrà prenotare solo una settimana prima della data del weekend. Le possibilità di acquisto saranno 100€ per tre serate o 80€ per due.

Il venerdì in pre festa proponiamo un extra class dedicata allo Slowbal con coppie di maestri che potrebbero far parte del team del Brescia Balboa Series o altre coppie invitate a partecipare: il costo della lezione per chi è già iscritto al weekend o all’intera rassegna è di 15€ per persona, mentre per chi non è iscritto il costo è di 25€ per persona
